Made in the USA. Box of 40 Warmers. Item # HH-1
Amazon.com Product Description The highly portable and air-activated Heatmax Hand and Body Warmers are a use-anywhere solution to the frigid cold. Keep a couple in your car, first aid kit, or backpack for emergencies, or use them as a regular staple during any cold-weather activities, including skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, or working outdoors. Designed to last for up to 18 hours, the Heatmax Hand and Body Warmers provide safe, comfortable warmth in the coldest of temperatures, and they also are excellent alternatives to bulky electric heating pads for treating arthritis, back pain, or muscle pain. The four by five inch packets can be placed in pockets, between layers of clothing, or directly where you need them. Heatmax warmers are odorless, disposable, non-toxic, and nonflammable, so you can use them without worry. Made of natural materials, including iron powder, water, salt, activated charcoal, and wood fiber, the warmers are environmentally friendly. The packets are simple to use. When you open the wrapper exposing the contents to air, the materials react together to produce heat through an extremely fast oxidation (or rusting) process. Users should allow 10 to 20 minutes for the warmers to reach their optimal temperatures, and can count on warmth for up to 18 hours.

Keeps you toasty December 22, 2008 Robert Fately (Van Nuys, CA USA) This is a godsend when you have to be outside in the cold. The exothermic reaction that starts once the plastic wrapping is opened lasts for hours and does keep whatever pocket or glove the small packet is inserted in nice and warm. I use them when I ride my bike on really cold days - using full-fingered cold weather cycling gloves doesn't keep out the biting cold after a few hours in 30-40 degree riding, but by palming one of these warmers in each hand before putting on the glove I ensure a warmth that goes to the fingertips.
I have also used them when outdoors taking landscape photographs on cold days - this time just stuffing them in my pockets and putting my hands in my pockets as they get chilled. Since gloves are rather cumbersome when handling camera gear, this is a great solution.
Great!!! December 13, 2008 The Huntress (Wisconsin) Kept us warm all thru hunting season! Nice big size & didn't need gloves, even in Northern Wisconsin!
Great for an anti-war vigil on a very cold corner December 12, 2008 Paula Rogovin (Teaneck, NJ) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We bought these warmers for members of our weekly Wednesday anti-war vigil at the National Guard Armory in Teaneck, NJ (4:30-6:00 pm). In the winter it's very cold, snowy, and windy. The hand and foot warms are our salvation. We hand them out at the vigil so everyone can stay warm. They really work.
AMAZING December 2, 2008 kichan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I don't know how these work, but they're amazing. If you're choosing between this and the hand-size version, keep in mind that these last almost twice as long. The downside is that you'll use them up faster because you need one for each pocket. Sometimes they have a tendency to get too hot though, which isn't a problem for me, but I wouldn't give them to young kids or elderly, and I definitely wouldn't fall asleep with one touching your skin. Also, they really do last around 20 hours in case you're skeptical!
Warm Hands at Last! November 25, 2008 Kat-Reader (Arlington, VA USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a favorite product of mine. It makes going through the winter so much cozier. I just love them. One in each pocket, and I'm happy all day.
