Amazon.com Review Designed for inflating and deflating beds, boats, and other inflatable items, this cordless, rechargeable electric pump makes the chore fast and easy. It works with Coleman double-lock and quick valves, Boston valves, and pinch valves, and is compatible with all Coleman beds and inflatables, as well most other inflatable products. It does not, however, work with stem and needle valves, such as those in basketballs, bike tires, etc. For valves other than pinch valves, there's an adapter nozzle, and for pinch valves there's a separate adapter. The pump inflates from one end and deflates from the other. A plug-in transformer comes with the pump to charge the battery. --Fred Brack

You MUST have a "backup"!!! October 5, 2008 Wilbank (New Mexico) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this item along with a Coleman Queen Mattress. 30 mi N of Durango and a long, long way from civilization, I found this thing didn't hold a charge after 12 hrs of charging. After trying to blow the mattress up by mouth for 30 min and almost passing out, I abondoned the idea, having to sleep on the ground! DON'T RELY ON THIS ITEM TO HOLD A CHARGE for very long! I have since purchased a Coleman "double action" hand pump - no batteries/ no electricity!
After borrowing the neighbor's... October 4, 2008 Biblioholic Beth (Portland, Oregon USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
During one of our hot days during this crazy summer, our last-minute blow-up pool came in the mail from amazon. Only as I was unpacking it did I realize - I had nothing to blow the thing up with! So, I borrowed asked the neighbor to borrow a pump if they had one. They did, and this was it.
Using this pump is easy - really, you can't screw it up. It charges easily, and made extremely quick work of blowing up the double-ring, 10' pool. It's also very light, which is nice.
After using the neighbor's and taking note of exactly what brand it was, I hopped on amazon to purchase and have been thrilled with it!
Fast! September 29, 2008 Derelkington (San Francisco, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
While this pump is rather noisy, I think all comparable pumps are comparably noisy as well. Aside from that, it does its job really well. It will inflate a twin-size air mattress in about 20 seconds. The battery seems to hold its charge very well, and is good for multiple uses even after sitting unplugged for several weeks. It is also good for deflating an air mattress (much easier than trying to sit on it, roll it out, etc).
Overall, no complaints really other than the (to be expected) noise.
Pump never worked and was missing parts! September 23, 2008 Monica D. Fenster (LA, CA) Same complaint as the previous reviewer who wrote that the pump never worked - mine was even missing parts when the air mattress arrived! I now have to go to both Target and a sporting goods store to see if I can find another pump, which is priced at just ten dollars less than the entire airbed package that included the pump in the first place - does that marketing make any sense to any of you?
Buy the airbed separately from the pump in case the pump is malfunctional and needs to be returned on its own. This will save you the trouble of running around your hometown looking for another one, as I get to do today with a fever and the flu :) while waiting for my new queen size bed to arrive.
great pump September 16, 2008 Teacher Mom (Oregon, USA) We have used this pump on a few camping trips and it works great! We have yet to drain the battery in the field, so it holds its charge very well. I also love the deflation feature so you can quickly deflate large air mattresses with the help of the pump.
